From at-risk teens to young chefs, Israel’s impoverished youth get a taste of success.

Not wanting them to be at greater risk, Meir Panim created a one-of-a-kind program to pave a path of success for Israel’s at-risk youth.

Without positive, structured activities, underprivileged teens are at-risk of falling into the vicious cycle of poverty.

Often left unsupervised, impoverished youth can get involved in risky activities that jeopardize their future. Understanding the value of investing in our youth’s future, Meir Panim offers a wide range of extracurricular activities for at-risk teens to ensure their personal and professional growth.

Success is a journey, and we’re by their side.

In partnership with the Maytal Teen Center, Meir Panim launched the Young Chef Training Program to provide underprivileged youth an opportunity to gain fundamental leadership and teambuilding skills through the culinary arts.

As these young adults learn the ins and outs of the culinary world, they gain valuable skills–here are just a few:

Self-confidence and motivation

Business and communication skills

Collaboration and teamwork

The importance of trial and error

Leadership and passion

Planning and organizational skills

Working through the challenges step by step, Meir Panim stand by our participants as they gain life-changing skills and make strides on their journey to success.

From leaders in the kitchen to leaders in the world.

At the end of the program, participants receive an official certificate recognizing their accomplishments in the 24-week program.

With the tools given to maximize their full potential, participants develop the grit and experience to confidently enter the workforce, helping to break the cycle of poverty for generations to come.

You can pave their path to success.

When you donate to Meir Panim’s Young Chef Training Program, you’ll provide Israel’s at-risk teens the tools needed to rise out of poverty and become leading members of Israeli society.
